A windy but dry and mild walk with Daughter and Louie today.
I could not remember the name of these shells.
They are gooseneck barnacles and are considered a delicacy in Spain and Portugal. Don't know what these fungi are either. Must look out for an identification course to do.
The Welsh word for recyclable is fioddiraddadwy. I would like it to be noted that should the opportunity ever arise for me to use it I will say recyclable instead.

I like the Welsh for recyclable, though there do seem to be an alarming number of syllables.
By the time you've said it, you could have done the recycling and gone home.
those shells are so pretty.
I prefer the word recycle also
Cathy
lol. Quite a word. I’d use the other too!
I can pronounce recyclable. I don't think I can pronounce the other word
Welsh has SO MANY interesting words.
Get the App Google Lens on your mobile. I use it to identify flowers, funghi, trees etc. Live or photos. works well 95 to 100% correct.
I haven't tried that one so I'll give it a go. Others failed miserably.
far too many. I lose track.
Precisely.
And they do look like goose necks.
I can't imagine many Welsh speakers use the Welsh version.
I can't.
That's one description.
