The exhibits were all based on the three ideas of ponder, pause, and pray.
And the installation (a bit of a grand name for what it was!) gave people the opportunity to jot down their thoughts and make them part of the art.So well worth a visit especially on such a beautiful day.
In the church there is a memorial to Edgar Evans, a Rhossili boy, who died on Scott's British Antarctic expedition.

I read that there was also a memorial in the graveyard for sailors lost at sea. The poster said it was in the west corner. Husband will be very proud of me using the sun to work out which corner that was.

Time well spent!
You worked out the direction well, and the light from the stained glass is quite wonderful.
Love the light through that stained glass. An interesting place!
Sounds like a good way to spend the day
It was. It was really peaceful and lovely.
Thank you!
It's beautiful stained glass too.
Very relaxing and pleasant.
I think I will incorporate "ponder, pause, and pray" into my daily routine.
It would be a helpful practice for me too.
There's nothing like a bit of time out to ponder the change of seasons. I love the Autumn (and the spring).
