If going somewhere Husband will check the BBC weather forecast; I look out of the window. Today, unusually, I did both. The sky was clear and the forecast said no rain before 11.
I drove to Daughter's for 9 and no sooner had we started walking than it began to rain. And didn't stop.
I got home and the only thing not soaked was my knickers.

Although the rain was a surprise, I am impressed by how often the forecasters get it right — at least here.
Hubby and I have different weather apps on our phones. It's amazing to me how often they could be giving a forecast for completely different places.
So disappointing!

one thing i learned about bbc weather forecast.... although generally it seems ok..... it does not cope well with the hills and valleys of our area..... i rely on more local weather services than the bbc..... wunderground or the met office for a more localised forecast...... you actually have styled out the drenched look really well
Dry knickers are are a good thing in two ways!
At least something stayed dry! Surprised you didn't carry the regulation raincoat, regardless of the forecast.
We don't have weather here anymore because he who must not be named fired most of the people who work for the weather service. Now every day is weatherless and the same.
Love,
Janie
How on earth did you manage to keep your knickers dry?
