Take my word for it, it was yummy. And I've now licked the plate clean. Metaphorically speaking? Hm, I'll leave that to you to decide.
And well-deserved as I've been working in the garden since early (for me anyway).
The little verbena I'd planted in the corners of the front path have been eaten so I replaced them with geraniums Husband has nurtured. They seem to be safe from pests. Then rather than discard the verbena I thought I'd give them some TLC and see if they revive when away from slugs and snails.
I think there is hope for them. Sadly I suspect my runner beans are beyond help.
Oh, but they are in a tub and still got attacked. Maybe I should paint salt around the edge of the verbena pot.
Our St John's Wort bushes are glorious again this year.
I think it is St John's Wort; Husband disagrees but doesn't know what it is. Please tell me I'm right.
The garden is a good place to be in the world at the moment.

It certainly looks like the pictures I've seen of St John's wort.
I have been making strawberry rhubarb jam for a month or so. I’m not making a dent in the rhubarb supply in the back yard so I started on rhubarb loaves. They are a huge hit with friends who are under the weather these days! Hubby loves them too.
