My head will never save my legs

After I'd gone upstairs for what felt like the 99th time in an hour I recalled some words my grandmother used to say, "My head will never save my legs."

I told Husband about it and he'd never heard of it. Was it peculiar to my family or Wales?

And today, ladies and gentlemen, the garden is wearing pink and purple.

I planted the wallflower last year. It grew and flowered all through the winter and is positively blooming now.

We have the family coming around this afternoon for a barbecue before we set off tomorrow. We're only going for three nights but I can't wait.

It sounds like a great, and much postponed, break. Enjoy! Don't count calories!

Such gorgeous flowers, especially those perfect roses! And to answer your question on my blog -- NSFW means "Not Safe For Work." This acronym is a standard warning on posts so people won't open them at work.

I’ve never heard that expression, but I may use it from now on because it applies well. 😀

Sometimes I go to the cellar and there ask myself why did I come here?
As we get older (I am 81 in June) we forget stuff more easily.
Does anyone have a memory jogger tip?
