When I looked at the year 2025 I thought, "That's a nice number. It feels good." No logical backing for this, just a feeling. But now Stu over on his blog has proved that I was right!
You need to look at his whole post but here are just a couple of fascinating mathematical facts for you:
2025 is a perfect square so can be written as 45²;
and (1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9)²=2025.
It is wonderful to be proved right for once!

I watched GrandSon1 play football this morning and it was very cold. I thought I'd warmed up but now I'm not sure and I'm trying to decide if I'm too cold to go to Mumbles.
It's mainly the thought of half-price Christmas goodies in M&S that draws me but as I bear a striking resemblance to a Christmas pudding that is also a reason I should not go.
Yesterday we received an unexpected surprise: a Cornish cream tea by post. Husband suggested we eat it just now so I've definitely decided against Mumbles. The tea is warming me up nicely.

Numbers can be fun. I like 8 because it has so many possibilities.
I'm just envisaging you with a sprig of holly, as all good Christmas puds should have
That Cornish cream tea was a nice surprise!
I saw something about 2025 math elsewhere. I think many of us over-indulge in this season.
I would point out to Boud that 8 has infinite possibilities if we allow it to lay on its side.
Being right is always an ego booster.
ooohh a Cornish cream tea, one of my favourites. I'm the equivalent of dyslexia with numbers, so the 2025 thing goes right over my head!
2025 is a nice number. I hope it stays that way!
well lets hope that nice numbers bring nice things for everyone.
