"You look about 47!"
Okay, the words were spoken by a drunk alcoholic but it still counts right?

GrandSon3 got through the first Swansea Schoolboys football trial and was invited to the second trial yesterday afternoon.
Then GrandSon1 (his older brother) took a nasty fall off his bike but couldn't remember what happened so ended up in A&E, which as it happens is just five minutes away from where the football trial was taking place. So we called in to see GrandSon1 -who looked bloody and shocked - then I took GrandSon3 to the football trial so his mum and dad could be with his brother.
In my opinion GS3 was a star and should definitely be part of the team. But I might be a little biased. I was warned before I went that it's not done to cheer the boys on; it was very hard. I sat muttering, "Yes, good stuff, come on, you can do it," and, on one occasion, "Aw, ref, come on, did you see how he pushed my grandson?" Very quietly under my breath.
Well, we shall have to wait to see. Oh, and GS1 was eventually sent home, the doctor being satisfied there was no brain damage.
I was telling GS3 about the time his dad had walked into an open window at school. The following day his head was still hurting so I took him to A&E, which in those days was only ten minutes away from where we lived. The doctor said he was okay but to keep an eye on him and bring him back if he was very sleepy or sick.
We went home and we had only just got through the front door when he was sick.
Back to A&E where further examination showed him to have tonsilitis. I should have realised: whenever the boys had tonsilitis vomiting was the first sign.

Exciting times in all respects. Boys and bikes are heart-stopping.
It looks like G1 was knocked out for a second. That can be unsettling. I can still remember the time that happened to me.
Do boys specialize in these adventures? I think they do.
Look 47? As long as its kilos, you're doing good.
Good look to GS3 and I am glad #1 was ok.
Kids make adults’ lives exciting. Happy that all seems well.
I personally think you look younger than your actual age in photos, but subtracting more than two decades seems a little overkill :-)
Never a dull moment with boys
