Choosing to garden the very afternoon the flying ants decide to take off could have been a bad decision - but they'd mostly finished when I got out there.
This pile of convolvulus comprises less than a third of the total. It's what I could collect without hurting myself too much. As it is my hands are scarred - probably for life! Not to mention the trauma of spiders climbing down into my bra and up into my shorts. And here's George's bench.
And the view from it.Not the most attractive but's it's peaceful and shows a garden that is used and enjoyed. See how full of water the wheelbarrow is? That's how much rain we've had lately.
And because I love it so much here's my Wollerton Old Hall climbing rose again.
* * * * *Cyn cael y plant bwytodd Owen orenau. Before having the children Owen ate oranges. This is especially significant as previously Owen has shown an unhealthy interest in parsnips.

Is that last bit your latest Welsh lesson? Owen's quite a tearaway.
