Husband said, "Do you still have one you can get into?"
He paused and stared into space. "I remember you in one looking gorgeous and slim."
Much too long afterwards he said, "You're still gorgeous of course."
Dear reader, I know you must be thinking why did she marry/ does she stay with him? I don't know; it must be something to do with love.

I think you're used to him, too! You did look stunning in that dress. What was the occasion?
Maybe Husband's coffee hadn't kicked in yet?
Husbands don't always use the best judgement before speaking...lol
My husband used to always tell me "You look good" and after a pause would add "for your age". I would tell him that he was doing good in the compliment department until he got to that last part.
