I'll show you mine

My weekend that is.

Friday afternoon
Had a lovely walk with GrandSon3 and Toby. Just happened to include Verdi's for ice cream.

Saturday morning
Cleaned bathroom, watched rugby - one happy Welsh woman, one sad Englishman - cooked dinner, ate dinner, watched television - we've discovered there are several series of Endeavour we've not watched so are working our way through them - went to bed.

Sunday
Went to church church. (More later.) Enjoyed walk on beach with family, who then came back for hot chocolate, tea, coffee, beer. Watched last episode of The Crown, cooked dinner, ate dinner, watched Endeavour, went to bed.

So, church church. I haven't been to church for ages. I've zoomed to Linden on occasion - I can hop in and out as I want - but real church is something else.

Monty, who's one of the study leaders at Zac's, also leads a 'normal' church so I decided I'd go along and check it out. I have been there before but on that occasion I was the guest speaker; this time I was in the pews, or rather chairs. Quite a small gathering though not too small, and all older people. I was made to feel very welcome and I did enjoy a good sing-song. The speaker spoke in a bit of a monotone but while I was still paying attention I was challenged and then saw an alternative. So quite productive morning. Will probably go again.

I like "Endeavour" too and have seen all the episodes to date. The final season is coming up! Or perhaps is already playing in Britain -- we get them later in North America via the PBS channel.

What season is The Crown up to? I'm years behind.
