Toby Dog is staying with us for a few days as is Stella Cat. Just to make things even more fun we also have Louie but just for today.
Toby and Louie start off with Toby growling at this precocious pup, and once he's made his point, they tolerate each other. Except Louie idolises Toby and wants to follow him everywhere. Currently that means two of them trying to squeeze under my desk.
We took them for a long walk thinking it would wear them out and they'd sleep the rest of the afternoon. What fools we are! Having said that Toby seems to have settled down finally. Now we just need Louie to relax and do the same.
P.S. I wondered why Louie was yapping intermittently. I thought Stella must have come down to torment him but I discover . . .

Looks as if you'll be too busy to feel at a loose end at the moment. Good luck with the dogs and the stairs and the gate.
