As expected

Wales lost to the All Blacks, 23-55. Not quite the biggest ever point difference but not far off.

New Zealand started well and it looked as if they could be scoring the equivalent of a point a minute but then Wales scored. NZ scored again and Wales did. And that's when it happened. Hope reared its head.

That moment when you allow yourself to think, "Could this be it? Could this be the victory we've waited for?"

Ah, hope, you play such tricks on us. And on a very girly note I have to say All Blacks beat Wales in the looks stakes too.

But I just saw this rather lovely tweet. Ardie Savea was the Man of the Match yesterday and afterwards he swapped jerseys with our number 8, Taulupe Faletau, saying this, "Swapping jerseys with this man. Am buzzing."

Racial question ; are the all blacks so, or are some white?
