Should have oughta done

Realised that if I had bought the extra bag of stones plus the free one I could easily have used them. Wonder if the store would let me have two for the price of one if I explain. Fairly certain the answer will be no.

This hot weather is really rather nice. At least it is when you don't have to do anything. I can't imagine having to work in it. The highest temperature is forecast for tomorrow followed by thunder storms on Tuesday. School breaks up next Friday so, from experience, we'll probably go back to bad August weather then.

I drove to Mumbles early (for me, 8.45 am) yesterday morning to stock up of barbecue food for the afternoon. I feel so blessed to live here.

I've received notification that Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band are playing concerts in Britain next year. If they were coming to Cardiff I'd be booking like a flash but the only venues are London, Birmingham, Edinburgh and Dublin. Quite tempted by making a weekend of it in Dublin or Edinburgh. Will have to talk nicely to Husband. We've been to Dublin but not Edinburgh. Then again hearing stories of midges in summer in Scotland is a bit off-putting.
