Owen's parsnip

I just translated a spoken sentence from Welsh to English.

What I wrote: My earring is in a bath with Owen.

What it actually meant: Owen has an earring and a beard.

That makes more sense.

I might have got it right if it had been a parsnip instead of earring.

This is a random photo I found on the internet but he has the definite look of a parsnip-crazy man about him. Owen is a man who grows parsnips, who eats parsnips, who feeds the Welsh rugby team parsnips, who lives for parsnips.

I bet the earring was shaped like a parsnip.

Owen's parsnip sound's like the title of a Welsh saga, about small things leading to mighty conflicts, mainly involving the English invaders..

Owen is surely an unique human - earring or parsnip.
