Yesterday it was a carrot; today a potato.

Went for my eye test today. The optician said, "Your eyesight is better than most people's." I can only assume he means other old women who can't see very well.
That said he gave me a new prescription for reading glasses. Apparently my left eye is letting the side down. I have chosen, from the cheapest range, a super cool pair! I have to pick them up next week when I'm also having my hearing test that was cancelled today.

I think a psychiatrist/psychologist (never sure of the difference) would be able to judge my state of mind by the rate at which I do jigsaws. They're my form of mindfulness.
