Night time happenings

The night before last at about 1 Husband woke me by thumping me on the back.
"Quick! George is having a seizure!"

We both leapt up and ran downstairs. To find George sleeping peacefully.
"Oh," said Husband. "Perhaps he turned over and kicked the wall . . ."

We'd been back in bed for a minute and the noise started again.

It turned out it was Charlie Cat scratching the bedroom door.

We were both wide awake now and it took some time to get back to sleep only to be woken at 4 by George wanting his first breakfast. Followed at 4.30 by Charlie wanting hers.

Followed at 6.30 (I think) by both wanting something; I'm not sure what; a kick up the bottom perhaps.

Between George and Charlie, it's a wonder you get any sleep at all!

I can see Charlie takes her job seriously. Not just a house guest, a player.

oh my word, I hope you don't get too many nights like that!

That…. though very difficult for your sleep… is a great outcome none-the-less, because George did not have a seizure. Silly cat proclivities at night are rather legendary. I was amused to learn it was the kitty…. although I was sad about your lack of sleep.
