George is much the same.
The blood tests all came back fine. He has been diagnosed as having vestibular disease, which means - not a lot really. If the cause could be determined it could be treated but for that George would need an MRI and for that he would have to go to Bristol, about 80 miles. If a tumour was diagnosed, well, he's a bit old for an operation, and a bit old to take that journey.
Sometimes dogs just get better. Sometimes it can take months.
He spent all of yesterday lying in one area of the garden, alternating between grass and hiding in the bushes. We've tempted him to eat with chicken and some of his usual food in chicken juice. Husband had to carry him indoors last night. And he hasn't barked a single thing since Tuesday.
Tuesday morning Husband got up and found his coat, covered in George hairs, in the middle of the hall floor. He had left it hanging up but when he checked the hook in the jacket was broken. Husband said George must have pulled it down. I didn't believe him.
On Wednesday morning I got up and found my scarf lying in the middle of the hall floor and I know I didn't leave it there.

Thinking of you and George!
Sad time. Let's hope he recovers soon.
Typical behavious when a dog knows he is death's door.
Always sad. Pets are family.
The veterinarian is certain it is not an inner ear infection? It seems they would try antibiotics regardless as inner ear infections are sometimes difficult to confirm.
I will keep your family in thoughts and prayers.
