"And where were you on the ..."

You know in police dramas when they say, "What were you doing on the afternoon of 23rd October last year?" Well, I feel now as I would if the police were interviewing me.

"Younger Son said he gave you the scooter document to keep safe. Have you got it?"
"Of course, I put it safe."
"Can I have it?"
"Yes - as soon as I work out where I might have put it when it was given to me ten months ago!"

I am about to start the search. Wish me luck.
