Had my hair done today. That took up most of the day but I did fit in some shopping. As we're off to Italy soon - and in the hope it will be warm and sunny - I wanted some new t-shirts. I ended up buying a cardigan and a jumper.
I don't like this year's colours. And most options are drab. Also there aren't that many clothes shops in Swansea any more. Debenhams has gone, Next has moved out, all that's left are the one that probably use slave labour to make their clothes. Bring back C&A.
The shops that exist are either too tatty looking or too intimidating either because they're dark and you don't know who's in there, or because you get pounced upon and asked if you need help, if you're having a good day, or if you'd like to sign up for this.
I want a nice light shop, with lovely colours, and staff who keep out of the way until you want them. Or somewhere like Waterstone's, full of books and rather exquisite jigsaws.

I have grown to hate shopping in actual shops. All of my clothes arrive at my door after I place orders for them.
Love,
Janie
I just hate it when sales staff follow me around the store, hounding me, as well. Bugger off!
Enjoy your holiday in Italy. Bon voyage.
God bless.
