Doing my jigsaw I was getting annoyed. "It's very tricky without being able to see the edges!" Mainly because each piece I picked up and failed to find a home for, I assumed went around the edge, where as you can see, the image is covered by bits of union jack.
Meaning I was ending up with an excessive number of unplaced pieces.After two days of this I wondered, "Could the complete picture be on the bottom of the box?"
It was. Along with an interesting history.
Not as big but at least it was all there.

Well, that's a bit misleading, isn't it? Glad you figured it out!
Interesting subject matter. A bit different from the usual trees reflected in water and seascapes. The first time I wrote seascapes, predictive text changed it to dead air! Hm.
Photo or no photo, that looks like a hard puzzle.
