But washing was made for a day like today.
Our garden is usually sheltered from the wind but today it was blowing in the right direction. And the sun was shining. It was perfect. And our camellia has been looking rather wonderful too.
Forgive me, I need something to take my mind off Wales' dismal performance on the rugby field today.Last year Wales won the Six Nations championship; this year we are bottom but one.

That is a beautiful scene to me, of fresh wash drying in the breeze.
Well, at least Wales isn't the absolute rock bottom! Who has that honour?
Isn't it, terra?
Italy, Debra. But very close!
Can't believe Wales is flagging. Usually they sing wonderfully, completely demoralizing the opposition, then obliterate them.
I know, Boud. It wasn't so much that they were flagging as that they never started waving.
Lovely garden scenes (washing included). We can't successfully hang out wash as it dries stiff and wrinkled - folding towels that have been on a line is not pleasant.
Oh that's a shame, Pam. That said I always tumble dry towels for the softness!
