What to do on a wet day in Wales

What do you do on a wet Friday in November when the forecast is for it to get worse?

If you're the optimistic Birthday Girl you say, 'I want to go and see a waterfall!'

We drove through pouring rain to get there but my optimism was justified as it was almost dry while we walked to the fall, although we did get wet from the spray!

At 90' Henrhyd is the highest waterfall in south Wales, and the water was coursing over it today.

Apparently it has a sort of international fame as it was used as the entrance to the Batcave in  the final scene of The Dark Knight Rises.

Traditional birthday photo!

Happy Birthday, Liz! Very cool waterfall -- I can understand why they would use it in a movie!

If it's wet, then you might as well get wetter.

Love,

Belated birthday wishes. That's an impressive waterfall, well worth the journey.
