I was parking to go to the library when I spotted this:
Excited or what? Next time I go I'll make sure I'm prepared with some books to swap. In my opinion it is not possible to have too many sources of free books.
In the village I caught a glimpse of my reflection in a window. Good grief, I looked like the sort of person you'd avoid sitting next to on the bus.
I wasn't dirty or particularly scruffy; I was just wearing a strange combination of clothes. Trainers and piggy socks, shorts, because it's too warm to go into jeans yet, baggy jumper, because it hides a multitude of sins, woolly scarf, to keep my neck warm - I've picked this up from Husband who is prone to sore throats even though it seems illogical to me that keeping your neck warm would stop you get a bug but, hey - and my mask. Once my mask goes on it stays on to save me having to put it on and off.

Today has been a successful day for me. I've recorded my next radio talk and written the first draft of my next Bay article. I've also just made cawl (Welsh lamb stew) ready for dinner. So now I think I'll have a little lie down and read before I am required to collect GrandDaughter1 to drop her off at her drama class.
I still haven't managed to access my Kindle library on my tablet. I have been trying very hard to solve the problem myself but I fear it is a job for SuperGeniusHusband!

I would sit beside you on the bus!
They say women get more invisible with age. This can have its advantages.
That is a treat to find a new to you book swap place. Some days I might look like "that lady" that people don't want to sit next to. LOL
I would like to set up some sort of book swap or little free library in my front yard. When I catch my reflection, I think that woman is so old and unattractive she can't possible be the young, pretty girl I am.
Love,
Janie
Thank you, Debra! I would relish our chat!
THis is true, Boud. I must remember that.
A wonderful treat, Terra.
Totally, Janie, it's simply a bad reflection.
You know I have to look up a Welsh lamb stew recipe now!
