A very cross Granny

The five local grandchildren are coming for a sleepover on Friday night. 

Everyone except the children and Granny think this is a silly idea, but I said, 'If they don't behave I will shout at them.'

Everybody laughed. Even GrandDaughter1 patted me on the back and said, 'You're so sweet when you try to be cross, Granny.'

I was lying on the sun lounger yesterday when Husband said, 'I read on the internet that the roads around the Guildhall are closed today as they're making a film there.'

'Oh.'

'Yeah, starring Tom Hardy apparently.'

I sat up. 'Tom Hardy?!'

Today I had to drive past -, no, really I had to - and I peered in but there was no sign of anything filmy. Tom Hardy and Hugh Laurie both in Swansea this year. And I don't get to see either of them.

But at least I can say I was in the same city.
