I'm leading bible study tonight so I've been busy preparing for that for the last few days. It shouldn't take so long but I get easily distracted and go off at tangents doing research. It's all very interesting but now I'm feeling not prepared enough - or rather I am prepared but I'm not sure if what I've prepared is right or if it's going to be helpful.
Ah well, everyone in bible study will be very nice to me I'm sure - they're Christians, they have to be. Tee hee.

What else? The Six Nations rugby tournament began on Saturday in empty stadiums. They add crowd noise on the television, which I think helps the atmosphere at home although I don't know how it feels in the stadium. Both games we watched were very good though; there was no lack of incentive or determination.
Husband's team, England, lost to a Scottish side that was simply on fire. they could do no wrong. They were amazing. My team, Wales, beat Ireland but not convincingly. Ireland had a man sent off quite early in the game so it should have been an easy win for Wales. But again the Irish team was heroic. So it's going to be a very interesting championship.
Yesterday was GrandDaughter3's 2nd birthday. Don't tell anyone because we're in lockdown but Husband and I did pop over to see them. But we stayed in the garden and didn't have close contact (boo-hoo). And it was cold!
And today is Daughter's birthday. We met them at the pier - again don't tell anyone - with the intention of having takeaway chips - but the shop was closed! After failing to find an open chip shop we had assorted goodies from Greggs the bakers. And stood sheltering behind a tree in a car park while we ate them.
From the sea front we could see up the valley to the distant hills which were very white with snow. It has been dry here for a day or so so if it tries to snow tonight it might settle - but it's very unlikely. I should be grateful I know but just a little bit of snow, when everyone's supposed to be staying in anyway, would be nice.
Oh yes, and sometime before Christmas I signed up to volunteer for a university research project investigating exercise and cognitive function. Back then it seemed a good idea. Now it's all getting a bit real.
On Friday I've booked in for an online baseline testing session. Well, I did book in once I had figured out the app and the software and asked a number of people questions about why it wasn't working. It will be interesting to see how I get on in the cognitive tests. I really hope it is the case that exercise improves the brain.
I somehow seem to have signed up for running. I don't know how because I hate running. But I am going to have to run for 30 minutes a week. But that's certainly not happening while this wind is blowing.
Watch this space for details of running failures.

Good luck to Wales in the rugby tournament! Rugby is the ONLY sport whose players I will concede are even rougher and tougher than ice hockey players.
You mean run - on purpose!?! With no one chasing you with a big knife? That sounds like a bad thing to do - run - on purpose.
They are ridiculously tough, Debra.
I know, Pam. Big mistake, right?
