I was trying to think of positive things to say about 2020, and Biden's victory was all I could come up with. But that's worth celebrating yes?
But no actual partying tonight. Just a surfeit of chocolate and an early night, as usual.

I had never seen the term “surfeit” before. A beautiful word for that context! I will remember it for future use! And yes, it is great about Trump being out.... but I am still nervous about the next 21 days he still has left.

Sounds like a good way to spend New Year's Eve - chocolate and quiet. I like your scarf. I have a crocheted coat similar to your scarf. I call it my prodigal daughter coat (you know - coat of many colors, prodigal son and all that jazz). I think your scarf fits into that same classification!
