I may never leave home again

We went to Verdi's this morning for end-of-holidays ice cream. Verdi's was fine - except for the man who stood right next to me at the water station - but the walk along the prom was a nightmare. No regard for social distancing at all.

Then on the way home Husband tells me that on Friday there were thirteen confirmed cases of Corona virus in Swansea.

I may never leave the house again. (Except for walks in remote places.)

Which George and I did afterwards.

The Small Tortoiseshell Butterfly is on the Endangered List for British Wildlife. This one was looking a little ragged around the edges.

Labour Day weekend is a scary time because there will be huge gatherings. Also kids are headed back to school here. We’ll be keeping a low profile these next few weeks.

Us too I think, Marie.

My bubble is still very, very small.

Hunky Husband's birthday was yesterday; but, did we leave home? Of course not! We (make that "I") am too chicken. I did notice, on my walks, the abundance of vehicular traffic on the roads. On the good side: Since I went out long before it got light out, I didn't have to don my mask.

That is a pretty (if somewhat worn) butterfly. We don't have those around here AFAIK.

Our bubble is family, Debra, but the children go back to school this week so who knows how we will progress.

Happy belated birthday to HH, CopCar!
