I did some painting this morning (to be revealed later) and as I had paint left in my palette (foil dish) I thought I'd do some more. Inspired by Grayson Perry's art Club on television this week I decided to paint George's portrait.
It would have helped if he'd sat still for more than one minute but I used my imagination. Grayson Perry, who is a proper artist, said it doesn't matter if your portrait doesn't look like the subject. Or something like that. So bear that in mind.
However George says he doesn't want his portrait hung on the wall. But that might have been after he heard Husband laughing at it.
Incidentally, happy World Naked Gardening Day. Here's a tasteful pic for you.
Not me. I won't be taking part I'm afraid. Any gardening I do today will involve weeding the raspberry bushes and they're altogether too prickly!

You’d freeze to death trying to nakedly garden here today. Interesting thought though!
You've certainly captured George's beautiful golden fur!
Gardening naked . . . sounds refreshing except for the mosquitoes, ants, spiders, and hot sun.
Your dog matches your wellies. True chic!
Had I wished to risk the vision of those in our neighborhood, yesterday would have been a great day for naked gardening. I had to cut it short in the nearly 90-degree F heat. Fortunately, the creepy crawlers/flyers that Pam mentions were not out.
One of my blogger, Facebook friends did World Naked Gardening Day. Even photos on her blog. British lives in France. She did it last year as well.
