I am a saint to my husband

I picked some rhubarb from the garden today, added some apples and made a crumble. BUT I used the coconut flour kindly given to me earlier this week by Kay. I thought coconut flavour would add to the overall taste.

And it did - except it didn't crumble rather fell to dust and it stuck to the roof of my mouth.
So if you're thinking of using coconut flour for a crumble read up on it first! Find out the secret!

Husband used to have one and a half sweetener tablets in his tea. Now they're only little things so breaking them in half was hard enough. But now he's decided it's not sweet enough and wants ... wait for it ... one and three-quarters.

Here's a picture to show you the ridiculousness of it.
Yes, that's a teaspoon next to them.

My advice? Give him a BIGGER mug of tea and put TWO tablets in it.

My rhubarb is just starting to poke up through the ground. I look forward to that first crumble of the season.

Well, it will give him something to do while you're making the tea.

Good thinking, Debra!

Enjoy it, Marie, but don't use coconut flour!

I'm thinking I will leave it to him in future, Sonata.

Smash the tablet between two spoons (cup the bowls) and parse out 3/4 of the powder. That's what we used to do before pill splitters.

I thought only Catholics made saints? Does your church do it too?

I would just put two in and not look suspicious or guilty!!
