Yesterday it struck me that as Husband is 70 and had a heart attack last year he would come into the vulnerable category for this Coronavirus and that I should be taking better care of him, making sure I protect him.
As I was thinking this I heard a clattering noise as he fell UP the stairs.

He's fine by the way. Apart from 'a broken toe.' (I don't think so.)

Liz,
Cop Car has a good link about prparing your home for the coronavirus, taken from NPR.

Oh it's Friday !3th, of course!
I hadn't noticed, sonata! That explains it. Oh no, it doesn't because it was yesterday. I had better keep an extra close eye on him today.
That is a good link, Stu. Very sensible. I'm good at hand washing but often find I'm touching my face. Must be more aware.
Among the superstitious, it's considered a sign of good luck to fall UP the stairs. Probably because it is admittedly bad luck to fall DOWN them.
Definitely true, Debra!
Your poor husband, Liz. Can you give the guy no consolation? (I hope you can here the sincerity in my voice?) In truth, I'm betting the guy gets good care out of you - you softy, you.

Oh my! I imagine you are hyper vigilant for both of you. That has to be hard!
I fell UP some concrete stairs a year ago.
so maybe I shouldn't comment. but it was no fun!
much better than falling DOWN them and being dead though. xo
Your fault!
If you'd kept him busy redorating the hall IMMEDIATELY,
he'd have had no reason to take the stairs!
In fact, he'd take steps to avoid them ;-)
