Today was the day that children, staff, families and friends of Pennard Primary School danced in the pouring rain just to break a world record. And we did it! Pennard Primary School now holds the official Guinness record for a Welsh folk dance.
The Welsh flag looked rather sorry for itself in the rain. |
But we were all counted and numbered. |
Some of us went to great lengths for authenticity. |
Outside in the rain waiting for the bell to ring to start us dancing. |
And there it is! The certificate proclaiming success! |

Congrats! That's awesome!
Wonderful! Congratulations on your record, and for a very welcome piece of good news on a gloomy, wet evening.
Fun for everyone! Congratulations to all!
Congratulations. Is there a video of it on YouTube? It would be awesome to get a look at it.
Thanks all! Lisa, I'm sure there will be at some point. I'll put it up when I find it.
Is this practice for the Eisteddffodd (sp?)
Congratulations, Liz.
