Being dead doesn't let him off the hook

Feeling a bit rough so decided to watch Elf while writing cards. I had everything ready and then realised I need reading glasses for writing and distance glasses for television so I had to abandon my plan and concentrate on writing cards.

I got as far as as H in my address book but then got bored so curled up with a mug of Lemsip and the television. I searched all the channels but couldn't find Elf. I know I have it on dvd somewhere but that would have meant getting up and looking for it. So I watched Love Actually instead.

Still cross with Alan Rickman for being so weak as to be tempted by the floozy. Being dead doesn't let him off the hook.

Scam artists out in force currently: a phone call telling me money had been sent abroad from my account; and an email saying my Netflix account had been cancelled because I hadn't kept up payments. 

That sort of scam is always going to work better on someone who realises that you have to pay for Netflix, that it doesn't just 'come with the box.'
