But nobody told George.
We'd walked back a short distance when someone said, 'Where's George?'
Scanning our surroundings we just managed to spot him way out along the cliff path. 'Go and get him,' Husband yelled, using the rather spurious excuse of his recent heart attack for not running himself. GrandDaughter1 and I sprinted - okay, she sprinted, I jogged a bit, stopped, rested, jogged a bit more, took off my shoes and ran a bit more - after him with helpful people along the path pointing and saying, 'He's up there!'
He had almost reached the furthest point you can walk easily before he stopped to chat to some people who kept him talking until GrandDaughter1 reached him. And I followed up some distance behind, panting heavily.
'Oh there you are,' George said. 'I was just asking these nice people if they'd seen you.'

He does seem to take his role as Good Will Ambassador very seriously.
Oh he does, Sonata. Especially if he thinks other people may have treats.
I swear that the photo of the sunflower field looks just like the one that graced the front page of our local newspaper this morning. The header on the photo read, "IN THIS FIELD, IT'S SUNNY ALL THE TIME". Below the photo, it read, "Sunflowers are in full bloom in Kansas. This sunflower field, located near the Klausmeyer Farm and Pumpkin Patch in Clearwater, is one of several sunflower farms in the area that welcome the public to take photos."
