This is my attempt:
Event & date: St Samlet MU 2/7/19
No. in stock Price No. sold Money taken
This Time Next Year 5 £8.00 0
The Dog-walking Club 26 £8 0
Okay, that didn't copy very well but you can see the basics. I just want to know how many copies I have at any point in time, how many I've sold, and how much money I haven't made.
The one Husband had set up is far more complicated, doing all sorts of sums automatically, and incorporating reports from Amazon. He, rather impatiently, has shown me how to change and add items, and it will now tell me, with knobs on, how much money I am in loss at any point of time.
That is assuming I remember to update it of course.
I should add that after one rather spectacularly triumphant year that I ended 43p in profit Husband decided not to bother the tax man with my accounts any more.

For that amount I doubt that the tax people will bother coming after you, Liz. Better luck with 2019 income!
Having set up a few spreadsheets to accomplish enrollments in classes at an academy, I know how complicated your husband's accounting system may have seemed to you. When we roll up sums from several spreadsheets (within the same file or in different files), it can be a challenge to de-bug.
Cop Car
I hope you stashed that 43p in a tax haven in the Bahamas!
I'll leave the proper stuff to husband, CopCar, and just keep simple records for me.
Nope, I blew it, Debra! All in one go!
