Ne'er cast a clout till May be out

Well, May be out and I have indeed cast clouts but if the weather continues like today I'll be donning them all again.
May flower, hawthorn
There are those who claim that the ditty about not removing your vest refers to the month of May not the blossom. Indeed, my gran insisted on me keeping on my liberty bodice until the month ended. (Admittedly that was before global warming ...)

And that's another problem with George having bad joints: he walks so slowly. Which is fine normally but when I'm cold and could do with a good gallop ... A couple of dog owners have suggested giving George cannabis oil. I certainly know a few people who claim it has helped relieve their pain. We will ask the vet about it next time we go for a check-up. Does anyone have any experience of it, either personally or for your dog?

Coming back from our walk I hid in a bush to give someone time to move on so I wouldn't have to walk with them. Perfectly normal behaviour.

I have a friend who uses cannabis oil for her arthritis (hands, wrists, knees) and she says it helps. Another friend used it to offset the effects of chemo to restore her appetite for food.

It certainly seems to have its uses. I just hope it doesn't have a calming effect on George: he would become completely stationary.

People do seem to find that it helps. What does the vet think?
Mind you, I do see George's point about hill climbing, I'm rather less keen these days, too.
