Husband phoned me in work today. He said, 'Hello, I just ...' and then Stevie Wonder took over, 'called to say I love you.'
'Awwwwwwww.'
'Well, it was on the radio and you're always saying I'm not romantic enough.'
How many brownie points for that, do you think? He's definitely my favourite husband today. And he earns his place in my #100happydays challenge.
So, Furtheron, I hope you learn this lesson from your mentor!

Brilliant! Well done, Mr H.
Clever!
That's nice. Jenny and I are always mouthing endearments and sweet nothings to each other.
Ah, that is so sweet! Definitely gets brownie points for that.
Impressive!!
Have read about this 100 day stuff....need to investigate! My goodness....can feel me warming to idea now!
just read up - can't do twitter so that's me out - feel unhappy now.
Confused totally... I might have to sack him as my mentor ;-)
It's only taken 30-something years of nagging to get him to be romantic! There's time for you yet, furtheron.
Ooh, it's the N-word again, ha ha.
That is so sweet, especially for a man saying the L word.... they're not very good at that, it took Ian 18months of courtship to say it to me.
We'd had a wonderful day out at a local beach and a picnic I'd packed in a proper wicker basket, I'd made scotch eggs and individual caesar's salads, chicken drumsticks and of course a bottle of vino... Bingo...
That did it...we didn't marry for another 3 years though...
He tells me quite regularly that he loves me...well about twice a year...lol Di..xx
Aww, that's so sweet!
