There's a reason why things are cheap

In the case of this non-stick pizza pan from the pound shop, it's because it's going to take me weeks to get the glue from the label off the non-stick surface.

And I should have known there was a reason why the 100 piece icing set was only £1.

Will I ever learn?

It looks like quite a buy, but the glue they use on those darned labels is one of my pet peeves. Why is it, though, that when I need to glue something, it never sticks??

Hang on but the surface is non-stick... I love stuff like that, says one thing, means totally different.

Easy peel stickers are another one... peel here to remove - oh yeah?! And getting those little tag things to pull right round to get of a cellophane wrapper... Mrs F normally rips it from my hands after 20 mins of confused tugging and returns it in a second all done... how does she do that?

Hmmm. Not a very good sign.

I get constantly annoyed by those labels on the front of books that can't be removed without leaving a load of glue behind. Isn't it about time they discovered which labels can be removed easily and which can't?

I've heard that tomato juice removes the stickiness . Mind you , I've heard that Santa lives at the North Pole ...

I have a load of envelopes that never stick, rose.

Those cellophane wrappers! Bring out the worst in me.

I'll scritch it while watching television some time, katney, when there's something long on.

There was one shop that had good labels, nick, but I can't remember which it was! Toys-r-us are dreadful lables to remove.

I'm willing to try anything, sonata.
