What a show-off!

Thanks all for the lovely comments on my bathing belle pose.

I asked Husband if it was a bit showy-offy; he said, 'Yes ... but you should show off; you've worked hard.'

The thing is that I know who I am doesn't depend on what I weigh or how I look but the fact is that when I am carrying extra weight I feel uncomfortable in my clothes and unhappy with myself and lack of self-control.

Losing weight makes me feel happier and given me more confidence in everything I do - and I need confidence. So that's my excuse for showing off!

And, bear in mind, that it is from a distance and I am holding everything in ...

You're entitled to show off. That lovely figure didn't come easy. You're going to feel so much better too.

You should be honestly proud of your accomplishments - and I'm just jealous of your commitment. I'm always falling off the wagon of food. blah!

Any time you lose, you deserve some compliment. I missed the post but I surely will not miss the opportunity to congratulate you. I fully realize how hard it is, and it does NOT get any easier. SO I hope you are successfulin keeping it off.

We all need confidence or sparkly bouncy balls...

I don't find Japanese depressing. For some reason I've had a long fascination with all aspects of Japan and the Japanese language. It's just Japanese food I'm not incredibly keen on, apart from Japanese curry, which is indistinguishable from Chinese curry and v nice :-)

I agree with the others, you are entitled to show off after your achievements.

I feel the same as you when I am carrying extra weight and losing weight makes me feel happier.

Wow, you're looking good, Liz! And yes, you deserve to show off after all the hard work you've put in to accomplish this. I agree totally with your philosophy--size doesn't matter, but feeling comfortable and feeling good about yourself does.
