abuse@paypal.com

In work this morning I composed emails and letters to a number of PayPal chief executives and copied everything to everyone. I'd like to think that the PayPal President will act immediately he reads my email; unfortunately I suspect it will be a lackey reading it and sending me a 'The President regrets blah blah blah' response.

What is very telling is that PayPal has a special email address dedicated to complaints; it's called abuse@paypal.com

It's so tempting.

You can use abuse@ any company to get through with problems. Usually you use it to report scammers and spammers that are using the domain inappropriately.

Oh! yeah. I guess they are scamming you.

Indeed, jams.

Pleased to be of help, mrs n.

Really, katney? And I thought - oh well, never mind. Might still use it if I don't get any replies.

Yes, it's probably to report scams. I've gotten a lot of fake Paypal notices (your account will be deleted if you don't confirm...blah blah) and I send them to a certain address they set up. In this case it's spoof@paypal.com. Maybe they felt abuse sounded too negative...
