I am feeling sorry for myself

Big 'Aaaah' please.

I should be in circuit training now but I'm poorly. Snuffling and sneezing but mostly tired. I went upstairs to clean the bedroom this afternoon but got into bed instead and slept for 2 hours. And I'm about ready to go back to bed now ...

Normal service will be resumed soon.

Oh sweet heart, I do hope you feel better soon.
As someone who has recently learnt that sleeping in the afternoon is at times a necessity whole heartedly approve of you going to bed.
Now stay there and get better.

If I knew where you lived I would rush round with some chicken soup.

Much love
Lia

Hope you get well soon... and that explains the beachcoming problem - you'd have run home with the wood if you'd been well clearly.

We're fighting the same kind of bug here too, Liz. Do germs carry halfway around the world on the winds, do you think?! Take care, and as I wipe runny noses for the hundredth time today, I'll be thinking of you!

Oh dear .. I do hope you feel better soon. Two hours' sleep sounds like a much better plan than circuit training. You do know you're not meant to work out when you're not well, don't you?

Put your feet up Liz. You deserve it!

Hope you're feeling better soon, Liz! I'm a firm believer in the power of sleep to kill nasty germs.

You won't believe this, but the word verification is "acchu"!

Oh my goodness!I have had more than my share of these bouts.
Mix up some of those good home remedies, toddies, soups, etc. that make you feel better even if there is no curative value.

And REST REST REST.

Thank you all! I'm okay really just tired and snuffly. And because I'm usually quite fit the slightest little snuffle makes me pathetic!

Hope everyone else is feeling good today!

When you're a Granny , it's virtually compulsory , isn't it ? Mind you , it's also a good idea when you're feeling peaky .
