Nice little motors

Just round the corner and across the road from Elder Son's house is a Maserati and Ferrari dealer. They must have best part of £1,000,000's worth of cars on the forecourt.

The 'cheap' Maseratis. The slightly more expensive Ferrari. (Yes, that's £151, 850.)
And, amazingly, just behind the garage, you walk into National Trust property of fields and woods, leading up to the national Air Force Memorial (which was closed by the time we got there after our very long lunch).

I can't even afford a Maserati or Ferrari for my kids' PS3!

I'll take the yellow one thanks... why not have something really noticable if you have spent all that money... :-)

When I visit Older Daughter in Arizona, we drive past Maserati, Ferrari, and Mercedes dealers just on one street and then see the million-dollar homes jutting out of the mountains. Guess I won't be retiring to Arizona, after all:)

Hard times, calum!

That was my first thought, cherrypie, but furtheron does have a point!

Why retire there when you have a gorgeous home - and garden - now, rose?!

Lexus don't quite rate up there with Maseratis and Ferraris, but I used to pass a Lexus dealership on my way to work in the past on a daily basis. I must admit I find some of the silvery little SUV type models pretty nice! But I'm just thankful I got my stolen truck back in one piece! Merry Christmas to me, eh?
