As we're getting large numbers at Zac's, and knowing he'd want some, I made two sultana breads (my version of the Welsh bara brith, sweet and fruity bread) so he could have some and I'd still have lots left.
I am such a candidate for sainthood! (And I only ate a very very small piece myself ...)

Yummy! Would you email me the recipe, Liz? It looks SO good!
Yes you are a saint. However, when I do cook/bake sweets, my husband gets first choice.
You certainly are a Saint..I must be too, always thinking of things my husband would like.....
How come men are useless at romance...oh Lorne isn't is he..Leslie is lucky!!
Never mind the recipe! D'you think the cake'd survive a postal journey? Mmmm...
You are a saint indeed, Liz! I also think our husbands sound related; maybe I'll go listen to Eric Clapton for awhile, too:)
The bread looks delicious; how about posting the recipe?
He is a lucky man! As is my hubby too! I remind him of this most days! lol!
It looks and sounds so very tasty :-)
I want some of that right now with my cup of tea.
What has the Pope got to do with this? Confused as usual.
St Liz...hmmm, sounds good but you have to have been dead for a hell of a long time to become a saint. Think of all the cakes you may miss out on baking...
For cases of lack of a romantic bone, generally Viagra is recommended ;-)
that looks fantastic!
We have a huge homemade chocolate cake last night that my daughter had made for my sons birthday
wow i can taste them now.... ssoo delish :-)
Will do, leslie.
Your husband is lucky then, nitwit!
It must be a woman thing, anne.
Sorry, all gone, dotterel!
That's a good idea, rose. I might have posted it previously actually but I'll do so again.
Well, if we don't remind them they wouldn't realise it, would they, denise?!
THanks, cherrypie.
The pope has to make me a saint, jmb!
That's true, puss.
Is that romance though, stu?
Your daughter has a wonderful talent and I'm sure you encourage her to demonstrate it at any oppportunity, furtheron! What about a photo?
THanks, sally.
I have plenty of romantic bones and if Jenny made something so visibly scrumptious I would of course praise her extravagantly. Except that she's so busy our cakes usually come from Sainsburys.
Looks delicious Liz. I fel blessed that the not-wife bakes me delicious cakes too. I do try to be romantic!
Sultana bread - yum.
Very saintly indeed, you are, girl.
