I decided after menopause to let the hair grow where it will, which isn't much of anywhere. I do have a tad of a mustache I conceal with concealing cream.

What an original take on the theme although I hope your pinkie isn't a new injury. My brother broke my pinkie when we were children. My parents didn't think he was strong enough for it to be serious since we were young, but it turned out that it was a break. I have a permanently crooked pinkie. That would have been funny if I'd though of that and we'd both shown off our pinkies, although my brother hates for me to show off my finger he broke when he was around 8, ha. I hope you have a great weekend.

How many pinks are there in the dictionary? I'll have to look it up.

I'll bet that hurt when you did it.
Happy weekend to you Liz.

Very clever clogs. My dad has one of those from National Service.

Does it hurt for the pinkie to be bent? Hope not. In any event, a nice, original take on this week's theme -- well done! :)

Lol... (not about the "bent pinkie" but about the twist on the theme...).

Our family has what we call "the Tocher knuckles". It is a family trait. We all have large knuckles. My mother's are worse than mine are. She lost her wedding band and I bought her a "replacement" for it, an extra-extra-extra large man's ring. It goes over her ring knuckle -- just-- but there is enough room after that point to fit another finger in the ring.

On really cold days when her fingers shrink, she has to wear it on her middle finger. Even then, some days it will just fall off in the cold, while the day before, she had to soap her finger to get it on the smaller finger.

There is a family story that a cousin of my father's, a well-known Church of Scotland missionary to China, Rev. Forbes Scott Tocher, was going to be speaking. My grandmother hadn't met him and didn't know what he looked like. My mother noticed that one of the dignitaries had gigantic knuckles and said "I think that must be him..."

Sure enough, it was him!

That should have read "cousin of my grandmother's"

Clever...but did you break your finger at some time?
