It looks like someone had a lot of fun. My guess is that it was fun for you to watch until you got home and had to deal with the aftermath. I remember that from when I had dogs, it's all fun and games until you got to try to get them in the bath, i.e. under the hosepipe. Lovely mess. beautiful clean dog till the next time. It's worth it though. George looks very happy, and pleased with himself. great photo.
Oh my! George, couldn't you find some clear water?
I'm glad he didn't chose a patch of poison ivy. In our area, just touching this nasty little vine causes severe itching and dermatitis, but doesn't seem to bother animals.
I'm sure there will be a repeat performance!
Luckie seems to prefer our vinyl floor covering. Hope she continues that!
Yesterday Diva thought it would be nice to roll in some - shall we say excrement? - the neighbor's cats left in our yard. (Some work with the scented doggie wipes fixed the problem - looks like George will need a whole bath!)
Thanks all. George did have lots of fun and, thankfully, we walk home along the river so he was able to get clean in there! And also thankfully it was just mud and nothing worse!

Looks like it might be time for a bath. There are worse things, though, he might have rolled in:)

Oh dear. I hope he wasn't dripping wet by the time you got home!

At least its not bear poop that is much worse than mud let me tell you.
Many species would concur.
He's probably right! Greyhounds dig holes to lie in when it's really hot. Thank heavens it's not that hot here. LOL!
Oh dear! Bath time I think.
I don't think I'd have enjoyed bathing him! *ew...stinky goo!*
Oops...
