I jumped on the scales this morning. The hand on the dial shot up past the heaviest weight I've ever been. I jumped off. Brrgh. Some things aren't worth knowing.
Even allowing for dodgy scales that started off above zero and weren't very reliable at the best of times, it means I need to do something. Like diet. Although I already diet for at least half of every day so I'm not sure how I got to this position!

Come on, own up, what have you been secretly picking at? Chocolate biscuits? Lemon drizzle cake? Pistachio ice cream? Either that or the scales have developed a sudden fault due to global warming.
Global warming! Of course, that's it!
Hmmm...global warming. Seems like that should to melt things. Since I am on WW program since Dec. 31, results are slow, but NO FUN. This AM, scale acted like yours-3 different weights, all down. Guess I'll find some cattle scales!
Loved the bit about dieting for half of every day - exactly what I do!

I am still struggling along with mine too...
Are you sure George didn't have a toe on the scale?

It is so sad that you judge yourself by a number on a scale. The woman I like to read is so much more than that. Those of us who read your blog like you just the way you are and I think that we can all count on George to side with us on that. Throw the scale out and tuck in.
Cheers!
Annie
methinks you need more exercise;-)

No will power, that's my trouble, nitwit.
Another half day of dieting under my belt, wendy!
Cherrypie, i think it's a worldwide problem. It must be global warming.
Ah, I didn't think of thta, katney!
I'm currently tucking into cake, annie!!
Right, I'm on that machine now!
I know the feeling, so I've been upping my exercise and going to lots of fun classes to keep me motivated. Didn't stop me buying chips on the way home tonight, though.
