Last week I posted a wedding photo posed on the steps of my old family home. This week's photo of my great-gran and me is taken about 20 years later. See how cool I was then?
Oh, I loved those steps.
To take part in Monochrome Monday, visit Aileni.

Way cool !
Slate steps ?
Weavers was there for a long time though I can't remember when it was demolished. There was talk of preserving it because it was the first concrete building in Europe (or the world). Monstrosity.
The building in my picture is a performance centre now, I believe.
And you haven't changed a bit, Liz! lol Neat shot...
What a pic! And what a memory to have! Love the slippers on Gran too!
I the smiles and your shades!
Love the monochrome Monday, Liz and cop those sunnies...very cool!
What a beautiful photo. And how wonderful to have a picture of you with your great-grandmother.
Beautiful! How lucky you are to have a photo of the two of you together.
I have brought back Scotch Beef man for you, by the way. He's smouldering away at my blog as I write ;).
That is such a precious shot of you and your grandma! Thanks for sharing!
You must have wonderful memories :0)
That's a wonderful addition this week, so personal.
What a most fantastic photograph. I just love it. It must bring back great memories for you. And how lucky you were to have a great grandmother...Wow.....thanks for posting.
I love that shot. You were definitely cool, still are!
Check you out in your John Lennon shades! Yeah, very cool!
That lovely photo brings back some memories for me, too. I'm sure there was at least one lady, like your great gran, in every street in my town, when I was a child. The lady a couple of doors away was still using a dolly and tub up until about 1962!
You were obviously a fashion icon, even at such a tender age!
Way way cool!
What a brilliant photo :)
A great photos and I bet you have a lot of memories to go with it.
I am sure you're still cool and hip. Thanks for dropping by.
Lovely. I am realizing that I could become a great-grandmother in my lifetime.
