Re your comment there: Modern subs typically have rounded bows - but WWII submarines really would be more accurately described as submersibles rather than submarines. They needed to surface often and were run on the surface as much as possible, thus the ship-like bows. Modern nuclear subs can stay submerged indefinitely so the shape of the bow is dictated more by needs other than the ability to slice through the surface.
I used to always keep scrapbooks and somehow got out of the habit. They are so much fun to go back through years later. Good for you! I invite you to come see my stump pictures. -- Margy

Smart S-choice!
Have a nice ABC-wednesday.
Scrapbook would never have occured to me. Very well done.
Scrapbooking has taken new paths and become a new artform in this country. A scrapbooker today would not recognize my aunt's collections.
I wish I had kept my old scrapbook.
I had a Scrapblog for time which was a bit different.
my first scrapbook was from panini and i collect fottball players from the WM 1978
;) nice ABC
Scrapbooking is a HUGE passtime for many women these days. I've heard that some books are insured because they're so valuable. Good idea for S-day. :D
I agree with kjersti:
SMART choice:)
Petunia's ABC
I am heavily into scrapbooking - as you know!
Very good choice Liz. I've often started scrapbooks, but never got very far. No stickability!
Scrapbooking is a Splendid Subject for "S"-Wednesday!
"Louis" thanks you for visiting San Francisco Bay Daily Photo and his Submarine!
