These are great photos for the theme Liz. I don't think it was easy. I thought of a neighbours Harry Lauder's walking stick bush only after I'd posted.Have a good weekend.
Thanks for visiting. I could have sworn I had seen your picture, but I was mistaken. Better late than never. They say Ivy chokes a tree, but it looks wonderful.

Great shots Liz. I love ivy. Have a pleasant weekend - I take it that George will add a dash of mischief!
Mother nature is the best artist!
Lovely photos!
Have a great weekend!
Definitely twisted!!! I too love ivy.
I'm twisted this week also...come by for a visit, won't you?
Those are really interesting shots! I hope the ivy does not strangle the tree.
Nature really has the best examples. Lovely shots. I miss those types of trees. We have a lot of gums here.
Lovely :-) the ivy in the top picture is fascinating!
That looks really very special ! Nice interpretation of "twist" !
Those ivy stalks are thick! It's an amazing sight and I am glad I found your PH post!
Great photos! These are definitely twisted.
Those are both great shots for the theme. Hope you have a great weekend.
Lovely "twisted" photos. The red roots in the second are very different.

Pink roots, how unusual.
Thanks for ALL (!) your comments on mine, they made me laugh.
Some great twisted photos!
Those are amazing photos. Trees as in the first photo used to amaze me when I was a kid and wandering through the forest behind our house.
I love those intertangled tendrils... and also your moving avatar.
Now Liz - that is mighty twisted.
