You remember I said the camera was working again? Its time of remission was short-lived: it's broken again. The little flap thing won't.
So I couldn't take photos to show how George, single-pawedly, is destroying our garden (as well as our home).
This is only a short little video. Do watch it if you are thinking of getting a Golden Retriever puppy.

I said no more puppies last time. I wanted a one year old dog at least but got a five months old so still had to deal with the chewing for a bit.
Are there puppy obedience classes?
What a rascal!!! He knows his name though. I think you can probably rescue that plant and put it back in the garden. At least the daffodils are still alive. It's amazing that they're sprouting already - we've had such a cold and miserable winter that nothing is blooming except my Scottish heather.
Thank you thank you! Just the sort of evidence I need in my sustained campaign against the forces of a 12 year old daughter with a fixation about a puppy.
But I know if I show her this when he comes into shot it'll be... "Aaawwww but he is soooo cute Dad!"
Are primroses poisonous to puppies though?
You've got your hands full with that little George! I think that puppies are so cute so that we'll still love them even when they ruin our gardens, shoes, furniture...
He has that hangdog expression off pat...
Nice garden - liked the snowdrops. Have you considered growing some veg by any chance - also there was a large dog messing the place up...
jmb, we took Harvey to obedience classes but I found them way too stressful! WE know what to do, it's just having the preseverance to do it.
Winter hasn't been particularly cold herre, leslie. just wet.
Ah, but, furtheron, he is gorgeous.
Well, he's fine, anna, so they can't be. Tulip bulbs are poisonous apparently.
Of course we do, elsie. How could we not love such cute little sweeties? Any news on Tom?
Harvey was the master of hangdog, shades so maybe it's a golden retriever characteristic.
mutley, Husband grows courgettes over the cat burial ground. They flourish there, but mostly it's flowers. Imagine what he would be like if George knew there was food growing!
Ah .. I remember those days when I got a German Shepherd puppy, she used to love watching me plant bulbs and was so helpful digging them up again!
Bless, he's only a baby!
