The first big building from the left is the hospital, with wards nearly all at the front overlooking the bay, and then you get to the university (the next few tall buildings). Most of the city centre is in the gap between the hills.
Not only do you get a view from your hospital bed, you get good medication too. My 91-year-old uncle is in hospital at the moment. He reckons that, each morning, he has seen an elephant in the university playing fields.

Well done, Liz; can't even see the stitching :-)
Glad Sarchi could help; what stitching SW did you use?
Stu
PS: I'll be posting the mugshots at the weekend . . .
PPS: What a RUDE word I'm being asked to type in :-(
Nice idea. I need to think of something short and wide to panorama in Morley. Maybe the main bit of town in front of the Town Hall...
I think it's come out beautifully, Liz. A fantastic idea - you are clever. Made me remember good times in dear old Swansea, too.
It's not me that's clever, Welshcakes! It's Sarchi and a wonderful free download called Autostitch (you can google for it).
You've got a rude word, Stu, I've got gerbil or something very like it.
Ian, you're not in Morley in Derbyshire, are you? No, you're near Leeds, I remember.
I'm just wondering if Blogger stops rude words in English (or the limited improper subset called 'Merkin) but doesn't recognise rude words from other languages ?
Brilliant Liz! BTW Oldham are up against Swansea on Feb 10th (footie) so we're not going to make it. Really disappointing - have to see this bay (again) sometime. Will work on idea of w/e break when Pete is well...(not staying with you, panic not!)
Some of us bay at the moon. You obviously moon at the bay.
what is a meme? And can I have some drugs that make me see elephants?
Liz, nice picture. I need to see if I can download the software. Thanks for the tip.
